About AF44

Angel Flight 44 (AF44) was born out of the catastrophes of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita that struck the United States in late 2005, AF44 is primarily dedicated to providing additional aviation support to Kenneth Copeland Ministries and other Christian humanitarian organizations such as Operation Blessing International, for the purpose of disaster relief efforts.

Disaster Relief

The story of our ministry’s birth is detailed in the pages of the book Angel Flight 44. The disaster relief missions detailed therein illustrate the fact that sometimes a need arises that requires airborne assets in order to succeed in relief efforts. We know from the Bible that more of these storms, earthquakes, and tsunamis are coming—and we want to be ready to help provide the aviation support necessary for those efforts. To do this, of course, we will continue to acquire the appropriate aircraft, crews, and support logistics. This process has begun, and with the support of friends and partners, it will develop fully into the aviation support ministry that these humanitarian organizations need in a time of crisis.

Future Expansion

As is described in the book, Angel Flight 44, our vision for the future also includes:

  • Small training squadron
  • Ready reserve of pilots
  • Variety of aircraft
  • Team of mechanics
  • An inventoried aviation database of assets (aircraft, pilots, mechanics, etc.) from around the country

NOTE: These future components are not in place yet.

However, as Angel Flight 44 continues to gather partners and grow financially, we will build the necessary foundation. Once the key personnel, aircraft, facilities, and strategic partnerships are fully in place, the next step will be to begin adding the above supporting aviation components. (Pilots and other aviation personnel who wish to be updated concerning the development of these future phases should sign up for the Aviator’s Newsletter from Angel Flight 44.)
